First Hollyhock amenity designed for year ‘round fun

Planned to open in Fall 2016, the first amenity center in Hollyhock is designed to bring residents together for fun times throughout the year – whether it’s a big event at the clubhouse, or hanging out with family and friends around the outdoor fireplace.

The focal point of this new amenity will be a swimming pool complex that combines a lap pool with a beach entry pool. The swim complex will also include a separate children’s splash pool, along with abundant shaded seating areas, sunning areas, cabanas, and restroom and changing facilities.

This beautifully landscaped amenity center will also include an indoor fitness center and meeting space for resident events. Outside, open lawn areas, patios and an outdoor fireplace will provide additional gathering areas.

Other features include a children’s playground and several picnic areas with BBQ grills. Several large trees will be relocated to the amenity to provide immediate shade and character to the area. Many additional trees, shrubs and flowers will also beautify the area.

After it opens, this community center will be followed by other amenities including neighborhood open spaces with features such as outdoor sculptures, seating areas, playgrounds, shade structures and open lawns. Several pocket parks will also provide green space with playgrounds throughout Hollyhock, and the community trail system will provide 5.5 miles of connectivity for hiking and biking.

A planned second major amenity center will include one of several trailheads connecting Hollyhock to the 114-acre regional park located adjacent to the southern edge of the community. A special highlight of this regional park is an extensive network of mountain bike trails that also welcome hikers and runners.
