Coventry’s new Hollyhock model will showcase ideas for multi-generational living.
If you’re among the growing number of homebuyers looking for a design that’s ideal for living with grandparents, in-laws, adult children and other family members, you’ll love Coventry Homes new Design 3163 model in Hollyhock.
This spacious one-story model displays Coventry’s popular GenFlex option, which includes a spacious living area, a bedroom and a full bath that’s separate yet connected to the main home. An en suite kitchenette is optional.
The generational suite has a separate porch with an outside entrance, and there is an interior entrance to the main part of the home. A third car garage is accessible from the porch.
The majority of Coventry Homes plans in Hollyhock will offer options for generational suites, according to Chris Terhune, project manager for MHI, Coventry’s parent company.
“So many of our buyers have asked us to customize plans for multigenerational living and other dual living situations, so we decided to make the generational suite an option for most of our floor plans,” Terhune said.
A version of this model recently won a Best Architectural Design award from the Dallas Builders Association, he added.
“In addition to the generational suite, Design 3163 is a masterpiece in elegance and functional living space, capturing the upscale ambiance that homebuyers are expecting from Coventry and Hollyhock,” he said.
Design 3163 has an open family room, kitchen and dining area with walls of windows overlooking a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace. Other highlights include a gameroom and a study.
The base plan for this model includes 3,163 square feet, and the generational suite option adds 140 square feet.
