Frisco ranks high on “Best Places to Raise a Family in Texas” list
Frisco ranks No. 3 in the Metroplex and No. 5 in Texas on the new list of the best places in Texas to raise a family.
Niche.com, a national review website, studied factors such as public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family-friendly amenities to come up with its “2016 Best Places to Raise a Family in Texas” report.
Frisco received an A+ for public schools. Hollyhock is proud to be part of the highly rated Frisco Independent School District.
Frisco got an A- for family amenities, thanks to a wealth of recreational opportunities such as 40 parks in the City of Frisco alone.
Hollyhock is excited about its location next-door to the 170-acre Northwest Community Park, home to two popular bike trails, with more amenities to come as the master plan for this park is implemented.
Hollyhock’s 5.5-mile trail system – part of 20 acres of recreation inside the community – will soon link to this natural gem to provide incredible recreational opportunities for residents.
Frisco also received an A for diversity and an A- for real estate. The high real estate grade, no doubt, was boosted by the new-home opportunities in exciting new Frisco communities such as Hollyhock.
Frisco was one of three cities in Collin County to rank very high in this Niche report. Murphy and Allen also made the top five.
Founded in 2002 by Carnegie Mellon University students as CollegeProwler.com, Niche has grown into one of the largest content startups in the country, focusing on reviews of neighborhoods, colleges and K-12 schools.
