Best Places to Live
We all know that the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is a great place to call home. It seems that U.S. News & World Report agrees. It ranked the top 100 places to live, and our beloved DFW? We came in at #15 with a 7.1 out of 10 rating. You can check out the highlights here.
But really, what’s not to love about DFW? We get the benefits of quiet suburban living in a fast-paced urban setting. The best and most diverse dining, shopping and entertainment destinations are right at our fingertips. Not to mention, DFW provides residents with affordable housing, top-ranked schools, beautiful parks and, we must state the obvious, Tex Mex!
Call us biased, but with all the excitement of new companies and people making our beautiful city their new home, we think it’s pretty clear that we aren’t the only ones impressed by DFW!
We’d be remiss if we didn’t point out that the article excluded some of our favorite places in DFW. They picked things we all know and love – Cowboys Stadium, The Stockyards – but missed DFW treasures such as the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth or the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney or In-Sync Exotics big cat rescue in Wylie. There are so many cool places to visit within our cities. What are some of your favorite destinations in DFW?
