New grocery stores open near Hollyhock
“Grocery stores are flocking to Frisco.”
So began a recent article in the Dallas Business Journal, noting the influx of leading grocery stores into Frisco, following the growing number of rooftops and families in successful new communities such as Hollyhock.
Opened in the spring of 2017, a new Sprouts Farmers Market store on Eldorado Parkway is the newest addition to Frisco’s grocery basket. Located at the corner of Eldorado and Teel Parkway, it is also one of the closest grocery stores to Hollyhock.
The new Sprouts features a wide range of fresh and organic produce, along with bulk items, beer and wine, fresh sushi and sandwiches. It also has juice, olive and salad bars.
A map in the Dallas Morning News lists a total of 16 grocery stores in Frisco, with all but a few already open. (insert link – see below)
One of most popular stores is Market Street, located just a few miles from Hollyhock on Dallas Parkway. Market Street is a unique, one-stop shopping experience that combines everyday grocery needs with gourmet and specialty items, whole-health products and chef-prepared meals-to-go. Other highlights include gifts, flowers, and locally grown and organic produce.
Other new grocery stores near Hollyhock include H-E-B, Kroger, Super Target and Wal-Mart Supercenter. A Whole Foods store has also been announced for a location at Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road near Hollyhock, although no groundbreaking date has been announced.
