Frisco Finds: Sew Fun Studios
One of the highlights of Hollyhock’s “Get Your Frisco On” festival on April 21 will be six pop-up shops that pair unique Frisco artisans with Hollyhock’s homebuilders.
Each of these creative Frisco businesses will set up shop for one day only in one of Hollyhock’s beautifully decorated model homes, infusing the model with their artistic creations and offering a carefully curated selection of merchandise for sale.
Sew Fun Studios of Frisco will be demonstrating how fun and creative sewing can be in Britton Homes’ beautifully decorated Rothschild model home in Hollyhock. Filled with bold pops of color and texture, the Rothschild is designed to bring out the inner artist in everyone. The kids’ bedrooms are especially inspiring, including a “car bedroom” where a vintage robin’s egg blue car hood serves as the headboard.
Sew Fun’s pop-up shop at Hollyhock will be a great place to discover the joy of sewing as a cool, relevant and creative activity for young people. They encourage children of all ages and ability levels to discover the joy of sewing as a lifelong skill and an ongoing source of creative expression. From their Frisco location, they offer classes, workshops and camps, and a wide variety of programs tailored for after school, holidays and Scouting events.
At “Get Your Frisco On,” visitors can register to win gift certificates from Sew Fun Studios and all of the other vendors.
Along with the model home pop-up shops, “Get Your Frisco On” will feature light bites and libations from eight popular Frisco restaurants, pubs and bakeries, along with live music, lawn games and much more. Click here for complete details about this free family event.
