Get Your Frisco On at Hollyhock
As Frisco’s hidden gem community, Hollyhock is celebrating Frisco’s other gems with our “Get Your Frisco On” festival on Saturday, April 21, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Everyone is invited to this free, family friendly event, featuring small bites and libations from 8 Frisco restaurants and bars, live music, and pop-up shops showcasing 6 unique Frisco artisans and merchants.
All events and activities during “Get Your Frisco On” are free, and guests can check in at Fields Park, for free food and drink tickets.
Here’s what’s in store for “Get Your Frisco” on.
Savory Bites. Featured Frisco restaurants include Eight | 11 Place, a unique wine bar and restaurant focusing on scratch-made food that warms the soul. Offering a slice of the Cajun Country in Frisco, The Green Gator is known for signature cocktails including the Drunken Gator and Hurricane.
Live Music. Dallas’ own Royal Dukes Band will be on hand playing high-energy music, including covers of everyone’s favorite songs.
Pop-Up Shops. Six of Frisco’s most unique artisans and boutiques will be showcased at “Get Your Frisco On”, demonstrating their creative processes and offering meticulously curated selections of merchandise for sale. Guests can register to win prizes valued up to $250 from each merchant. The lineup includes Boxcar House, which makes handcrafted furniture from reclaimed vintage boxcars. Brookielynn’s Bungalow will showcase its creative flair and personalized home accessories, and Sew Fun Studios will show how creative, fun and cool sewing can be for kids of every age. Sunny Paige Frisco will display creative clothing, home décor and gifts, and Tumblewood TexStyles will show its unique brand of Texas inspired housewares and clothing. Texas Legends will showcase basketball merchandise and other high-adrenaline attractions.
Family Fun. Guests can also join in fun lawn games, craft activities, a balloon artist and face painter at Hollyhock’s Fields Park, located right in the center of it all, between Fields House and the model homes. Visitors are also welcome to explore more Hollyhock amenities including Fields House and Dandelion Park and miles of trails during “Get Your Frisco On.”
For Good. Because Hollyhock and Frisco have big hearts, we’ll also be collecting donations for Frisco Family Services, helping those facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs. Because one good deed deserves another, guests who make donations will receive an extra entry for the giveaway of their choice. Frisco Family Services is most in need of personal hygiene products and toiletries and shelf-stable boxed foods.
