Meet the Residents: The Carrasco Family
Nicolas and Tracey Carrasco moved to Hollyhock with their daughter, Ava, in 2017, after living in nearby Plano for eight years.
They discovered Hollyhock on the Instagram account of Coventry Homes, one of the community’s leading homebuilders.
On their visit to tour Coventry’s beautifully decorated Plan 3163 model home in Hollyhock, the Carrascos were instantly impressed by the community’s amenities, especially Fields House, with its fitness center and resort-style pool area. They also loved the fact that Hollyhock is part of the highly regarded Frisco Independent School District, for Ava.
“This is already a wonderful community, and we are looking forward to watching Hollyhock grow and develop in 2018 and beyond,” Tracey says.
The family has lived in Hollyhock for less than a year, but they’re already enjoyed many lifestyle events and forged new friendships with fellow residents.
“The Pumpkin Fun and Eye-Scream Social was our personal favorite,” Tracey says. “Ava was very excited to interact with the neighborhood kids and to celebrate Halloween.”
Nicolas and Tracey enjoy exploring Frisco, particularly the historic downtown area, which hosts many family-friendly events, such as the Music in the Square outdoor concert series, every Friday evening in June.
Among the many restaurants in downtown Frisco, two of their favorites are Vakeroz Mexican Restaurant and EG Steak, a Brazilian-style steakhouse.
“We love Frisco,” Tracey says. “The city really caters to young families and it is very safe.”
